The Bug Office now has an ATM machine, which is available 7 days a week from 7am-11pm, 365 days.

Also we require ID upon check in, and a valid credit card on all cash paying guest. We allow check in from 3pm- 11pm check ins must be here by 11pm we do not do late arrivals.

We have very well appointed PRIVATE ROOMS WITH BATHS and SHARED BATHS in new cabins with views.

Our TENT CABINS are wood framed and covered with rubberized canvas, with real beds and linens. They also have new centralized camping style restrooms. ONLY a few are insulated and heated.

Of course, we still have the five original HOSTEL AND GROUP DORMITORIES Licenced by Hosteling International.

GUEST HOUSES are now available across our creek away from the main complex.

PRICE PER ROOM FOR
2 to 4 PEOPLE: $75.00 to $155.00 plus 10% tax & 1% TBID

These very well appointed private rooms have private baths and accommodate up to two to four people. The rooms are separate duplex cabins on the forested hillside at the Bug complex. All have decks and outside tables with views. There are four large windows with vistas that brighten the room. The rooms are well appointed and each has a distinguished look.

Rooms include linens, cooling and heating. Housekeeping cleans the room, bathroom and makes beds during your stay daily. We change the sheets every third day. The rooms do lack TV's and phones in order to fit in with the relaxed atmosphere of this rustic resort.

All the fun you should need is down at the Cafe! We also have decks and a lounge area and guests from all over the planet for conversation. Children can run about the property if you wish, since this property is not on the highway and is relatively fun and safe, but please keep an eye on them for safety anyway. Also access to guest kitchen.

The rates are divided in weekend and weekday rates per room. Rollaway beds are available in some rooms at an extra $10.00.

We have private rooms shared bath in cabins. These cabins are excellent for FAMILIES, too, sold as a full cabin or individually. One side is a double/full bed or two twin beds. The other room is a double/full bed and a bunk (two singles). These two rooms share a large bathroom in beautiful wooden cabins perched on the forested hillside. These cabins are fully porched with chairs and table outside. Heated, cooled, and linens.

Summer and Holiday weekends have 2 to 3 day minimum stays.

12 uninsulated Tent Cabins in Total, and 4 insulated Tent cabins. Our Tent Cabins are furnished with standard bedding, a desk, chairs, and window flaps for ventilation. Tent Cabin guests have access to camping style restrooms and showers, and the hostel kitchen. Restrooms, showers and sinks are centrally located, next to the Bodie building, you can expect a 1 - 2 minute walk to the restrooms.

We do suggest bringing a sleeping bag year round when staying in a tent cabin.

Summer and Holidays weekends have 2 to 3 days minimum stays.

IN ALL HOSTELLING INTERNATIONAL licensed hostel dorm accommodations you share dormitory accommodations with other backpackers . Groups of 12 or more please see the GROUPS page for pricing. We always have single-sex or coed dorms available for single or couple travelers with reservations in the cabin of your choosing. OF couse there is access to the hostel kitchen as well with non hostel accommodations.

These beds are the only Hostelling International-licensed. All beds have good quality fresh linens on real mattresses and pillows. Fresh top linens and blankets are included.

We have 2 cabins that accommodate 12 people each. They have 2 rooms each with 3 bunks for 6 people. Each cabin has modern commercial semi private showers, sinks and toilets that are used by both rooms. These two cabins are connected with a deck. These usually are assigned for Female and Male only respectively.

Our 3rd cabin has one large room with six large bunks that accommodates 12. The baths are commercial, semi-private style. These cabins are usually Coed or Group only.

STARLITE HOUSE

The Starlite House is across the creek from the main Bug complex in a similar setting. There is a trail between that goes down into the creek area, it is beautiful all times of year down there with flora & fauna. This house was hand built in a natural, hippie style by a homesteader and has its own access to the highway to Yosemite with ample parking above & below. There is a small BBQ for briquettes out on the small lawn and an outside view deck with table and chairs. You can visit the large organic garden below the house. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one queen & one queen with a bunk and one small bath. There is a large bath and a queen upstairs with curtains separating from a living and kitchen area. There are small beds otherwise available about the house and an adjoining in-law with a set up for two. Great for families' or friends' getaways where the center of attention is your gathering. We recently updated the house and are providing free Cable T.V , DVD and VHS Player as well.

BARN STUDIO

The Barn Studio is above the Starlite House near the access to Highway 140 in a similar but simper setting. It has a more country style as a barn loft studio with a large kitchen / living area with a pull-out sofa. A large bedroom is in the studio with a small adjoining bathroom and bunkroom. Great for a small family or couple who want their own kitchen facilities and privacy away from the Bug Complex. We recently updated the house and are providing free Cable T.V , DVD and VHS Player as well.

• The Health Spa offers hot tub, sauna, cold rain shower, herbal bath, massage, reiki, rubs, waxes, and other treatments. Yoga classes and quarterly seminars as well.
• All facilities have been renovated, with signature recycled, new furniture, and soft goods. We have heat and modern conveniences except TV and phones. The tent cabins are not heated.
• Laundry is $1.50 per wash and per dry. Soap is sold in the front office.
• Internet access free in lodge and guest kitchen, wireless interet access is free for laptop use in the lodge.
• Public phones are available in the guest kitchen for calling cards. Verizon Wireless works at our facility, any other carrier you may have trouble with getting a signal.
